Terms

Version 1, 20 October 2026. Operator: see the Impressum.

1. What we offer

Static QR codes are free and need no contract. An editable code ("forever code") is a short link on our redirect that sends every scan on to a destination you choose and can change later. You buy it once: €9 for one code, or€49 for ten codes that can also answer on a domain you own. Prices include VAT where it applies. Payment runs through Stripe.

2. What you get, and for how long

  • The codes are created as soon as the payment is confirmed. You get a private edit link (a pack link for ten codes). It is the only key: we do not keep a copy and cannot recover it, so keep it safe.
  • A code keeps redirecting to its destination without time limit. There is no subscription and nothing to renew. The forever guarantee is part of these terms: it describes what we never do and what happens if we shut down.
  • For a domain of your own, you add one DNS record (CNAME). Whether that domain stays yours and points at us is up to you.

3. Right of withdrawal

Consumers in the EU generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Editable codes are digital content created right after payment, so before every purchase you ask us to create them right away and confirm that your right of withdrawal ends once they are created (§ 356 (5) BGB). The invoice Stripe sends you repeats that confirmation. Business buyers (§ 14 BGB) have no statutory right of withdrawal.

4. Acceptable use

Codes must not lead to phishing, malware, or content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others. If one does, we point it at a notice page instead of its destination and tell you if we can. We do not delete it, and we do not refund it.

5. Liability

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential obligations, limited to foreseeable, typical damage. We do not answer for the content of the pages your codes point at, nor for DNS records outside our control.

6. Law and contact

German law applies; for consumers only insofar as it does not take away protection given by the law of their country of residence. Place of jurisdiction for merchants is Dresden. Contact details are in the Impressum.
